Model Flying at Middle Wallop airfield came to an end on 31st. December 2019. This came to be after the military authority banned all leisure activities on the airfield at weekends to allow sole access for activities of the "Portsmouth Naval Gliding Club".
Thus, after some 56 years of safe model flying on the airfield without incident or conflict with full-size flying, the MWMFC held a final cold day's flying.
